Video and photo fields differ
TikTok video posts and photo posts use different text fields and limits. The composer checks the selected media type.
Creator and app eligibility
Unaudited apps are restricted to private posting. Public direct posting requires TikTok approval and eligible app access.
Local video uploads
Videos can be uploaded from the local composer. TikTok photo publishing requires a publicly accessible image hosted on an approved domain.
